GD2 Final Part 2: Revisit, Redo, Improve

Hello Students,
As your second to last project in this class you are to revisit a previous project and attempt to improve your results this second time around. This should end up being a strong example of your skills for your demo reel, which will be your next project.

GD2 Final Part 2:
Choose one of the projects below to complete again. With your advanced skills and experience you should have a very strong result. Take time to make it perfect. Consider that you should apply all your design skills, color theory, typography, layout... in addition to your new skills, animation, 3D, motion graphics, etc...

Character Development:
Create an original character test sheet, then animate it as a walk cycle

The Cornell Box:
Create a richer and more detailed version complete with environmental lighting and mental ray rendering

Match Moving:
Re-attempt this challenging project, use the 3D model you created in your last project and insert it into a live action scene

Maya Physics:
Create a more complex interaction, use trial and error to make it work perfectly. Use environmental lighting and mental ray rendering for quality results

Advanced Motion Graphics:
Find an advanced tutorial or attempt your own Visual or Special FX project

Parralax Effect:
Use original photography or imagery to create a stunning parrallax effect

Animated Logo:
Create a better or more exciting animated logo to brand your demo reel

Rotoscope:
Try your hand to rotoscope another video clip, consider what will add the most excitement to your demo reel

Real World Modeling:
Try again to model something dynamic and eye catching, make it rich in detail
